More than it seems

Tired from our long journey from Namibia, Alex and I decided to book accommodation in South Africa are the first available. It turned Out, the small town of Springbok is the gateway between Namibia and South Africa.

Annie's Cottage

As we walked into town, we stopped to ask a local for directions to a guest house. House Annie suggested that was exactly what we needed. The environment was very nice, but what I liked most our room was purple psychedelic! It was a combination of old furniture in dark wood with beautiful dark purple color stylized and pink, not too. In all honesty, I expected the room to look like other small townhouses: Soft colors with sheets, which not only seems to have been designed in the 1960s, but in reality, could still have bought the litter during this period. So when we were shown our room, Alex and I were very impressed.

After resting for a good night, we were absolutely voracious. We bacon, eggs, toast and of course the best cup of coffee. Alex had eggs Benedict, which showed that since he gave a look of satisfaction pure first bite. While enjoying our delicious food, it was decided to postpone our journey continues, because none of us have Summer in the Springboks before. The waitress suggested a few places to visit, and our weather was perfect, we had the pleasure of being right in the downtown district of Namaqualand flowers during the spring season (from July to September).

Namaqua National Park

Initially, we went to Skilpad Wildflower Reserve. Skilpad, which is Afrikaans Turtle was created by South Africa in the WWF in 1988 to raise awareness Heritage spectacular flowers of Namaqualand. I am told that even in years when the display of flowers The surroundings are not great, the reserve is still high. It was also quite impressive daisies and colorful display. Alex had a field day with the quantity of photos he has taken his collection of nature photography.

We Goegap Nature Reserve. Goegap and Skilpad Both are located in the greater Namaqua National Reserve. Alex suggested continue to 3 hours guided tour through the reserve which not only had the opportunity to see several fields of beautiful flowers, but also wildlife this specific region, including the danger of Zebra Hartman and Aardvark. If you are a bird lover, I'm not in honesty, love you Goegap Nature Reserve! There are over 92 different species of bird in this one area.

Know the Springboks

After Another successful night at Annie's Cottage, spent the day walking around the city. There were lots of markets selling baskets of wood, herbs and crafts made by the Herero and Ovambo. What I like about small towns is that locally produced products are sure to be among the best, as the fig jam made in house that I bought. The old friendship that makes us all happy at first to decide what I wanted to buy. Alex has bought a large bag of biscuits instead Afrikaner Boer.

After a day more relaxed on the Springboks, we decided that we should go home. It's pretty disappointing that we had to leave so soon, but I was glad we had the opportunity to spend a day the friendliness of the locals Namaqua.

How many of you old school AWA and WWF days … Lady?

Not to mention celebrities and games. I do not know about you, but I would like to see a hell of a lot more hits apear. yeah, where style and original character of yesteryear with the sounds of high school rock n 'roll mullet dominated the scene.

The time when children were still good and credible scenario. And damn impressive "He is still real me! "type. The era that gave birth to WrestleMania and Hulk Hogan became a household name. The figure was more than Mr. Perfect, Big Bossman and Ted DiBiase. The era of the old school. I love it.
