World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. is a media publicly traded, privately controlled integrated. He focuses on television, Internet, events Live and sports entertainment company dealing primarily in the industry of professional wrestling. The company \ 's world headquarters is located in Stamford, Conn., with offices in Los Angeles, New York, London and Toronto.
Vince McMahon is the majority shareholder and chairman of the company. Ms. Vince McMahon holds the position of Chief Executive Officer.
The company was previously known as Titan Sports before changing to World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. and most recently becoming World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.

The promotion previously existed as the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, which promoted under the banner of the World Wrestling Federation off and later the World Wrestling Federation. WWE is home to two of the three world championship heavyweight being recognized by the ECW Championship.
Around the same time, professional wrestler Joseph Raymond \ 'Toots \' Mondt created a new style of professional wrestling he called Slam Bang Western Style Wrestling to make the sport more attractive to spectators.
