Should I get my son a Macbook Pro for school although not necessary?
I have a son who wants a MacBook Pro for the sixth grade, but not required. He is very computer savy and you think hes ready to do one you think you should get one? The MacBook Pro is an excellent laptop, especially for people who want to do video editing or sound anything like that. They are out of my range price, I only have 24-inch iMac, but I love, and the new operating system Snow Leopard is great, It makes them more efficient and faster. Another good idea if you get one, go the extra mile and purchase an AppleCare Protection Plan for Apple, better not to buy, and get 3 years of phone support and 3 years of protection hardware. It is a well spent 349.00. But a council does not cover accidental damage. Drop it down into it, spilling liquid, im sure pop, etc. Most of people in the field to the children who do these types of serious computer use Macs usually get because they are well known for its quality. And you really do need Internet or virus protection every year because they are almost completely safe.
