Mask Lucha
How do I create my own Lucha Libre mask? In other words, how can I sew my own mask?
I want to make my own luchador (wrestler) mask. You know, El Santo, Mil Mascaras, Rey Mysterio, Blu Demon, etc, etc. But I do not know how to do in relation to samples, then sew together. I would appreciate your comments. Thank you!
You need to get or make a model of the size and shape of your head. Maybe you can find a mannequin head made of styrofoam, I speak of those plastic models used to display hats. Any how, after you get your form, draped in muslin or cheap fabric to make your model. The type of masks you mention looks like it would work better using spandex. If you use a sewing machine make sure you use a zig zag. Good luck!
