Licensed Promo
Can I use a program that said coupon, and not for resale? What it still work if it did not get that?
The software is Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition. It has a sticker that says, Promo, and not for resale. Does this affect the software at all? It comes with 25 CALs. Thank you.
No, it should not affect anything. Use Promo. For "only", this means that Microsoft has sold this or given away for promotional use – sometimes they provide new versions of operating systems for large companies or even Small businesses that have an influence so they can tell others how great it is. "Not for Resale" means that Microsoft has not given the right to sell their software – you have bought them in May, but you can not sell it to someone else, only Microsoft and stores Chartered can. However, I do not see the box – if you are worried for some reason it just call up Microsoft and describe the problem. Hopefully they will not pay you on time as they have done for me.
