Usmma Matt Phinney wins final USA Boxing New England Championship

Phinney a resident of Medway, Massachusetts, won a unanimous decision to Hector Martinez, of Holyoke, Massachusetts, in the junior welterweight division. The Championship New England is the second "great victory" this year. In May, Phinney won the regional Golden Gloves tournament in Lowell boxing, 5-0 will be named Division Champion 152 pounds in the rookie tournament in the first place.
Although the championship game in New England is an event Amateur, is highly respected with thousands of participants. Phinney objective is progress in the industry of boxing for the Olympics.
Hafer trains with Tom Phinney, owner of USMMA and Peter Welch, a former champion and coach of the Golden Gloves boxing. Mixed Martial Arts, a compilation of combat skills involving Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Thai boxing, wrestling, boxing and judo, which he incorporated into his training as a boxer.
Alongside training and tournaments to win, Phinney juggles being a student (with a specialization in Sport Management) at Mount Ida College in Newton USMMA on with his work that includes teaching adults and children of jiu-jitsu, freestyle wrestling and mixed martial arts.
Hafer, Phinney was training for five years said: "Matt knows what she wants, create specific objectives focus on them, and succeed at work achieve these goals. This is an excellent model. I'm sure he'll make the Olympics. "
