What is this style called?
There bandeau, tankini, monokini, bikini, etc, but I can not seem to know what this guy above is called. The only place I could find is a vintage website when I searched "retro bathing suits" on google. I know there bandeau tops with straps that position, but I am looking for the kind thicker straps. I think you're right, a bandeau. It's that 40's and 50's versions were made with thicker straps. Probably not find as such in the modern shops, at least it is supposed to have that feeling retro. Your best bet would be to get it at a vintage store or maybe the sites listed.
